Lana Del Rey = Envy of all women

In Uncategorized on February 24, 2012 at 12:59 pm

Lana Del Rey has had a Mulberry bag made in her honour.

Not only is she absolutely stunning, and has a voice to die for, she has also become the latest muse for Mulberry.

That’s right, she’s only been on the scene for a short while, and already has a designer tote named after her.

The ‘Del Rey’, as it is called, is just as classic as her 50’s pin-up beauty. She was spotted showing it off on her arm at London Fashion Week at the Claridge’s Hotel on Monday. Of course all women were admiring it, and instantly had it trending on Twitter.

In white ostrich leather, I’m sure this British bag will be ‘flying’ off the shelves. Mulberry bags looking to sell out this Spring/Summer would have to be the Cookie Bayswater and the Harriet Tote in cream. Both bags would look amazing against the cute pastel trends that are popular this Spring/Summer.

The Mulberry A/W Show was stunning as always, with ‘Where the wild things are’ as a soundtrack and a strong influence to the collection. Expect furs in all textures, and earthy burnt orange prints this winter!

Cheryl Cole launches shoe line

The Girls Aloud singer has launched her new range of shoes with, where she debuted her designs at London Fashion Week, but will not be released until December!

Amazingly the talent show judge has made the the prices for her shoe range at £39.95, which means if you’re a student like me, you will be overjoyed!

Cheryl is also looking to expand her new fashion career where in The Guardian last week it said she is  was looking beyond the realm of shoe designing and that it could be ‘the start of something’. Personally I love Cheryl’s style and think that she could really sell to the Teen-Tween audience if she keeps her prices low.

Cheryl way ahead of the Mod trend this A/W

Unfortunately not all people agree, as WAG and high-end fashion designer Victoria Beckham has been slating Cheryl Cole’s new fashion range as a PR stunt and that she’s an amateur. Cheryl has said that her range will appear to a younger market, whereas Posh’s clothes are too old. Posh has some fab bags, but even if I won the lottery I wouldnt spend £1k+ on them!

A Victoria Beckham bag worth £2300 as Selfridges. Ouch.

I am genuinely really excited to see what Cheryl’s come up with, and December is the perfect time to start pestering the family for shoe-shaped christmas presents!
